Sneak Peek) at watercolor postcards

So I am finally back!!!

I hope that everyone is enjoying the summer! I have been busy working on my friend's watercolor postcard collection. I am so excited to translate her pictures which she took herself on to the watercolor paper.

Here is a sneak peek) at the postcards. They are really close to be done so stay in touch to see the finished collection.

Oh, yeah...... I also have a wine bottle that I am currently working on. The sneak peek on it will be later on this week.

Watercolor self portrait 18"x24".

Watercolor painting of Admiralteistvo 18"x24" (used to be a Navy School in St. Petersburg, Russia) done by me in 2004.

Old art portfolio

Most of the drawings that you see on this photo were done for an art class in UWG. Looking at that spine drawing made me think at that time when I could not decide on my major and taking a life drawing class definitely has an impact on my decision. Yes, I thought I would be a medical illustrator! Wow, how off I was...

This is another photo of my works. The one that you see on the top is myself portrait influenced by Ed Paschke's style. He was and still is one of the amazing painters with his unique sense of style. Oh, and the cat that you see wandering around in the background is Bagira who is always involved in my art process.

4th of July!

Happy July 4th to everyone!!!
The day started with our visit to the Marietta Square, and to our surprise we made it just in time for the July 4th parade. It was definitely fun and honestly this was the first time that I have been to one. Check out the images from it while I am back to looking through my art portfolio.

My favorite oil paintings.

Recently, I had a chance to clean and organize what I call my art studio (it actually lives in my garage, spreading over couple of shelves). Here are some of my favorite oil paintings that were done a while ago. It feels as if I forgot how to hold a brush and what oil paints smell like. I definitely want to start painting again. For now enjoy my previous work and there will be more to come!
