Good evening,

Well so I am officially on my holiday vacation YAY, though I do miss work already!
I have been scrambling to get all of my christmas shopping done, and I still need to get more. I have been trying be a 22 year old girl for a day and picture what I wanted hmm not much of a success. Well good thing I still have couple of days before Santa arrives.

Additionally, I have promised to show you a sneak peek of my wedding invites... Below you will see few sketches for our customized crest that will be used for our invites :)

Hello to everyone!

Daniil and I are both fighting a cold :( Luckily, I have a wonderful fiance who has been so supportive and have been cooking for us delicious meals. May be I should be sick more often :)?

How was your weekend? I hope no one is sick and is ready for all Christmas festivities.

Good morning,

Today my morning began later than usual since I can't get out from my driveway. It's covered with ice.
On a normal day I will driving in the car on my way to work... but today I have extra minutes to enjoy my cup of coffee.

Just the other day I was thinking that my big day {WEDDING} is approaching so fast - only few months away. I am getting really excited but so nervous just thinking about it since there are still things that I have to get done.

Good news! Here are few things that I can cross off my list:

*Wedding Day
*Wedding Dress
*Photographer

Things that I still need to get/do:

*Invitations
*Wedding band
*Decorations
*Flowers
.................

Savannah is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to. It's has so much charm, culture, historic architecture, art and how can I forget those trees with moss. I think one day I might move to Savannah :)

I know that I have promised to show you a sneak peek of my invite, it will be coming next week :)

Winter is here already!!!

Good Friday to everyone :) I have been gone from this blog for a while because the past few months have been really busy with so many great things that came in to my life. I got engaged to a great guy :) and now busy planning our wedding that will take place in Savannah sometimes in April....so excited. My son recently turned 3. I still can't believe that he is 3 where did this time go?!


Well while trying to plan my wedding I have been busy working on my website www.byksenia.com which is still in progress. I am excited to share these excited news with everyone.


Weird to say but for some odd reason I have wanting to see some snow even though I am always cold in the winter. Below is an image from russian winters - so beautiful.

Wine Bottle

I know it has been a while...even more than usual but trust me there are a lot of exciting things going on in my life right now. Here is my recent work. I was so excited to paint this wine bottle since it was going to a really special person.

New Year is almost here :)

Why not make wrapping of the presents more exciting...my son and I had a blast.

We used craft paper instead of wrapping paper, tons of markers and anything that could possibly write. Daniil used so many markers at the same time it was funny to watch (I am glad that we used washable markers since my son was covered with markers at the end). Then to distinguish whose present that was we used decorative wire and made initials out of it.

A little touch of Winter

So one night my son and I took scissors and some paper....and yes we made some snowflakes :)

And since my son is into numbers these days, we counted these snowflakes at least 10 times haha
